The 13-bed Transitional Care Unit (TCU) supports adult and geriatric populations receiving treatment for a variety of diagnoses, such as COPD, asthma, pneumonia, diabetes, GI bleeds, sepsis, renal failure, altered mental status and more. As an RN Resident, you will assist fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care, from initial introduction to final send-off. In this role, you will interact directly with patients, families and visitors, offering the opportunity to enhance their experience and supply healthcare information as needed. Additionally, the Cleveland Clinic system provides nurses with many professional development resources, including furthering education and online/in-person courses to enhance your skills.A caregiver in this position works nights from 7:00PM – 7:30AM.A caregiver who excels in this role will: Participate in a residency core curriculum based on individual learning needs.
