Req ID:464053Address: 26313 Baker Rd Perrysburg, OH, 43551BASIC PURPOSE: Truck Care Cashiers help run our business by providing excellent customer service while operating the cash registers, inputting and verifying service orders, stocking merchandise, and light housekeeping duties. Truck Care Cashiers perform various daily customer services tasks by operating the cash register and assisting customers. Inputting work order information into POS system and then verifying accuracy of services performed. This may also include some basic housekeeping tasks around the location such as sweeping and mopping, cleaning restroom areas, and other tasks as assignedMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Greet customers as you see them, speak politely, and assist customersFirst point of contact with customers in the lobby and connect customers with service specialist to identify services neededAccurately input work order information into POS and verify accuracy of services performedOperate a cash register and maintain an accurate and organized drawerCollect and close out pending invoicesAbility to communicate with fleet maintenance departments to obtain work authorizations and/or purchase ordersAnswer phones promptly and address customer needs quickly using proper phone etiquetteInterface with multiple electronic platforms to ensure clear and concise communicationStock and face merchandise in customer area Perform customer area & restroom maintenance such as but not limited to; detail cleaning toilets, sweeping/mopping floors, mirrors and doors, service trash cans, and wipe excess oil off counters, doors, windowsPerform weekly and monthly projects Maintain personal grooming and uniform standardsMaintain a safe facility and use safety first practices to remain accident-freeOther tasks as assigned EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Education: High School Diploma or GED preferredExperience: 6 months retail and cash handling experience preferredTrucking industry experience preferred SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Skills:Hard Skills: Ability to learn and operate a casher register; Ability to learn and perform basic housekeeping tasks in customer area: Ability to navigate safely in service baySoft Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills, time management skills, organization skills, can-do attitude, sense of urgency, and strong work ethicTypical Physical Demands: Regularly required to talk and hearRequires standing and walking, with some bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbingOccasional light lifting not over 100lbsSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focusWORK ENVIRONMENT: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be exposed to outdoor elements in all seasons.
