The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients diagnosed with various cancers, including endometrial, bladder, renal, ovarian, and cervical cancers. Our unit specializes in providing treatments such as chemotherapy, clinical trials, brachytherapy, and CBI, with a heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls management. Oncology experience preferred but not required. Proficiency in medical-surgical and telemetry nursing, with the ability to interpret dysrhythmias and provide appropriate interventions. Weekends are variable based on unit needs. No set or blocked scheduling; self-schedule requests are accommodated to ensure a balance of preferences while meeting unit requirements. The first week of orientation is Monday to Friday dayshift. The second week consists of 36 hours of on-unit orientation with a preceptor. RTO required with submission, must be built into contract.
