About the role The Billing and Collections Specialist supports the accounting functions of the business; specifically, the billing and receivables process as well as the month end general ledger close process by preparing entries and reconciliations.The Billing and Collections Specialist is the subject matter expert on billing and receivable matters and quickly resolves questions or issues raised by clients and company leaders.This position is also responsible for helping to build and implement systems around routine transaction processing, increase automation and efficiencies as well as prepare and update internal control documentation for billing and cash collections process.
