Your Role at Jamshid Tamiry, M.D., P.C., dba QTC Medical Group of Alaska: As a contracted Nurse Practitioner with Jamshid Tamiry, M.D., P.C., dba QTC Medical Group of Alaska a Leidos QTC Health Service affiliated professional corporation, you will conduct a variety of general medicine, occupational, and disability health examinations including, but not limited to: Reviewing medical history and associated recordsInterpreting clinical dataCompleting written reports and generating independent medical opinions (IMO) The examinations may be completed in-person (in a clinic setting, whether it is your clinic, or our clinic), in the examinee’s home, at large event settings for the Reserve Health Readiness Program. Primary Responsibilities: Conduct physical exams for a variety of customers to include federal, defense and others.Occupational health exams to include pre- and post-employment and annual physicals.Written medical opinions based on provided medical records/informationUnique exam settings - homebound, event sites, etc.Completion of Veterans Benefits Administration Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs)Provide primary medical evaluations to include, but not limited to review of systems, pap smear, and range of motionComplete initial review and interpretation of diagnostic studies to include but not limited to laboratory, pulmonary function and ECG studiesDocumentation of examinee records in appropriate systems.Collaboration with other professional and clinical staff as needed and communicate with internal and client team members in determining the most effective and evidence-based way forward on behalf of the examinee population. Required Qualifications: Education: Master’s Degree in Nurse Practitioner Studies from an accredited university or collegeCompleted Education and training in an US accredited, post-baccalaureate (Masters)Experience: Minimum 2 years of post-graduate experience in General Medicine or Internal Medicine.Minimum 3 years of post-graduate primary care experienceCertification: Valid BLS OR ACLS certificationUnrestricted State medical licensure without limitations to perform full scope of authorized practiceNational Licensing with ANCC or AANPValid DEA licenseValid CPR or BLS certificationClearance: Ability to pass a medical clearanceMust be able to obtain and maintain government clearances (LARS, Public Trust, NACI, BGI, etc.) as required. Preferred Qualifications: Experience conducting occupational/disability medical examinations Work Schedule and Compensation: Location: Akron, OH.Flexible Schedule: Appointments are typically scheduled approximately 5 to 7 days of notification. You set the pace and frequency!Compensation: Compensation will be provided for each examination, with payment determined based on the specific requirements and type of examination performed.
