L&SE is seeking a highly motivated individual to perform civil design for the L&SE organization. This position will provide engineering analysis and develop design packages for construction, as well as complete as-built drawing documentation as required. This position will work directly with the project leaders throughout L&SE to develop / maintain drawings, as well as provide technical expertise. The position will be located in Findlay, OH and can expect travel up to 5-10% of the time, including some overnight travel.KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:Collaborates with other departments, subject matter experts, technicians and vendors to obtain pertinent information to complete design and engineering tasks for proposed projects in L&SE.Completes engineering calculations and tasks such as hydraulics, HEC-RAS modeling, rip-rap sizing, HDD design, containment calculations, and structural design, with a strong focus on design for waterway crossing remediations and containment design & analysis.
