POSITION OVERVIEW:

ADB is seeking an operations Supervisor to directly oversee utility construction projects, including internal and external crew management, in adherence to quality, safety, and production standards and expectations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of utility construction practices, people management skills, is quality and safety aligned with a strong work ethic and an ALL IN attitude to achieve results.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides field level management and oversite of work performed by internal construction team members and external sub-contractor teams including production, safety and qualityOversees direct labor field crews including time, attendance, performance, production, quality, and safetyEnsures job site readiness including permits and locates are ready and verified prior to crew work scheduling and distributionOversees all project materials, tools, and equipment including utilization plans, assignment, and managementEnsures daily production goals are communicated, verified and met by field crewsBasic understand of project financials, can identify profit and loss impacts and discuss solutions with Project Management proactivelyProcesses, reviews, and approves subcontractor and vendor payments and invoicesProvides required data on project production and status for timely customer invoicing and collectionUpholds ADB’s safety culture onsite, leads by example and drives the philosophy of ZERO throughout all project sitesIs a subject matter expert in quality control to ensure projects are performed in adherence to project plans and drive change, improvements, and escalated corrections when issues are foundCommunicates with internal and external leadership daily, escalating out of compliance work, safety, production or quality control concernsCreates and provides detailed reports, documents, drawings, and photos that include; material verifications, quality control and production results via electronic systems, trackers, and databasesPerforms other position duties when requested

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, including climbing, sitting, standing, walking, and drivingRegular exposure to all weather conditions, especially hot, humid and/or rainy spring, summer and fall weather, combined with regular work time indoors in environmentally controlled conditionsMay be exposed to uncomfortable or distracting sounds or noise levels on sites of projects being managed or coordinatedWhen working on site, will be required to wear common protective of safety equipment, such as safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, hard hats, and safety boots
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
3+ years of utility construction experience with a strong technical knowledge of wireline installations within the telecommunications industry required2+ years of field leadership experience operating a Foreman or higher level requiredValid Driver License with the ability to drive a company vehicle requiredHigh School Diploma or equivalent required
