This position reports to department leadership and takes direction from higher-level technical personnel.Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards. May process and prepare patient samples as required to include the following: 1) specimen collection, ensuring correct patient and specimen identification and specimen integrity 2) general laboratory specimen processing and 3) referral laboratory processing.
