As the Lead Architect, Financial Systems, you will be responsible for the ongoing support of Oracle Project Accounting, provide recommendations for system design and/or corrective actions, perform testing of software updates and ensure timely resolution of problems within the application. Become part of our rapidly growing dynamic team and we’ll help you develop your career to a level that will exceed your expectations.Pay, benefits and more.We are eager to attract the best, so we offer competitive compensation and a generous benefits package, including full health insurance (medical, dental and vision), 401(k), life insurance, disability and more.What you’ll do on a typical day:Provide Oracle Applications functional expertise, specifically within the projects and fixed asset modules with configurations, enhancements, upgrades, testing and post-production support including additional experience in supporting financialsOwn and lead the PPM related functional elements of the overall solution, acting as the single point of contact for the PPM workstream and leading the solutioning of Oracle ERP CloudAct as GXO’s thought leader on Oracle ERP Cloud solutioning in the PPM domain, challenging the implementation partner where required so that GXO has a best-in-class solutionAct as the single point of contact and co-ordinate application troubleshooting with end users and other internal teams / 3rd parties, ensuring the highest level of customer service is maintained to resolve the fault and incident within the prescribed SLAsProactively propose solutions to issues or enhancements to processing and reporting for Oracle ProjectsDocument business requirements, design solutions for development and other enhancements, and lead the testing of all developed items for migration to the production instanceInitiate proposing solutions; follow through on identified issuesLead the implementation of solutions to enhance reportingWork with end users through requirements, design, testing and implementationsWhat you need to succeed at GXO:At a minimum, you’ll need:Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent related work or military experienceOracle EBS R12 & Oracle Cloud experience, specifically the Projects Accounting moduleStrong experience in the deployment and support of Oracle ERP Cloud PPM modules with multiple full lifecycle programs and ongoing supportExperience of configuration of Oracle ERP Cloud, specifically PPM modules, as well as OTBI or other reporting toolsExposure to working in a SOX compliant environment, as well as managing a demand pipeline of projects and BAU enhancements6 years of relevant work experienceFull understanding of project accounting, general ledger accounting and subledger accountingFundamental technical skills which include a basic understanding of the underlying SQL code, tables and forms and how they are connectedIt’d be great if you also have:Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate issues, concerns and solutionsA clear understanding of the cross-functional impact of all Oracle modules integrated with projectsAbility to work independently, schedule time efficiently and set priorities in a fast-paced environmentWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
