Overview: The Medical Laboratory Scientist Lead analyzes human samples, such as blood, tissue, and body fluids, to determine chemical content, cell count, drug levels, blood type, and the presence of microorganisms. This role is responsible for utilizing automated equipment and specialized instrumentation to prepare samples and perform multiple complex tests that provide valuable information on diseases. This role also guides less experienced team members through training, onboarding and answering questions. Responsibilities: Ensures accurate and timely analysis of specimens using various laboratory techniques to ensure positive specimen identification while maintaining proper documentations. Performs testing of laboratory specimens (pre-analytical, analytical and post analytical) according to established laboratory policies and procedures. Collaborates with laboratory management to develop and update standard operating procedures to ensure adherence to best practices and continuous improvement in specimen processing. Overview: The Mental Health Technician Nurse Secretary helps provide therapeutic services to psychiatric patients under Trauma Informed Care principles in accordance with the Registered Nurse's directions and the established treatment plan. Working under general supervision for routine situations, this role serves psychiatric patients across the life span through various treatment programs, such as educational groups and 1:1 interaction.
