We are staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Monitor Techs providing care for patients for a mix of patients including Med/Surge. Our unit has 24/7 CNA coverage who work closely with the RNs as well as 24/7 cardiac monitoring. This role offers the opportunity to work in a face-paced environment with rapid patient turnover while delivering high-quality patient care in a strong team environment. Staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), our ICU operates with a 1:2/3 nurse to patient ratio. Patients treated on this included vents, continuous BiPAP, vasopressor drips, DKA on insulin drips, ETOH on CIWA and a mix op intermediate care. This role provides an opportunity to work in a newly opened unit, very spacious and bright. Staff Physicians are approachable. Our unit strives for quality patient care and you are encouraged to share your knowledge with others.Qualifications: . Patients may present with psychosis, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, mania, or exacerbations of mental illness.
