Staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Mental Health Technicians, Social Work Therapists, Recreational Therapists and Psychiatric Providers. Our unit treats a variety of diagnoses such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Bipolar Disorder, Schizophrenia, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and Substance Use Disorder (SUD). Patients may present with psychosis, suicidal ideation, homicidal ideation, mania, or exacerbations of mental illness. This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively in a supportive environment focused on providing quality care and support to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises. Our Telemetry unit is 22 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5/6. We are staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Monitor Techs providing care for patients for a mix of patients including Med/Surg. In addition, our 18-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), our ICU operates with a 1:2/3 nurse to patient ratio. Patients treated on this included vents, continuous BiPAP, vasopressor drips, DKA on insulin drips, ETOH on CIWA and a mix op intermediate care. This position reports to the Director of Critical Care and performs the following essential functions: Defines the mission for the department and shares the corporate vision with assigned staff.Directs operations and administration of the department under the general guidance of his/her Administrative Representative.Develops and directs assigned personnel in the performance of their duties and responsibilities.
