Department/Unit Summary Provides direct patient care using the nursing process, specializing in wound care for both inpatient and outpatient settings. Develops individualized care plans, maintains clinical competencies, performs transcutaneous oxygen monitoring, and assists with wound debridement and dressing changes. They closely monitor and document patient conditions, communicate updates to the care team, and respond promptly to changes in patient status by prioritizing urgent needs. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams ensures coordinated care, including transfers, discharges, and addressing psychosocial and spiritual needs.
