Additional requirements include:·ADN required, BSN preferred·BLS and ACLS required·2-3 years RN experience required, at least 1-year supervisory experience preferred Department/Unit SummaryA new opportunity is available for our Critical Care as an RN Manager for Telemetry/ICU. Our Telemetry unit is 22 beds with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5/6. We are staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Monitor Techs providing care for patients for a mix of patients including Med/Surg. In addition, our 18-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), our ICU operates with a 1:2/3 nurse to patient ratio. Patients treated on this included vents, continuous BiPAP, vasopressor drips, DKA on insulin drips, ETOH on CIWA and a mix op intermediate care.This position reports to the Director of Critical Care and performs the following essential functions:Defines the mission for the department and shares the corporate vision with assigned staff.Directs operations and administration of the department under the general guidance of his/her Administrative Representative.Develops and directs assigned personnel in the performance of their duties and responsibilities.About our Health SystemWilson Medical Center is a 294-bed hospital located in Wilson, North Carolina and is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network committed to making communities healthier® with acute care, rehabilitation, and behavioral health facilities from coast to coast.
