Candidates should have at least 2 years of industrial electrical supervision experience.
The Superintendent will oversee the operations and field personnel responsible for the installation, additions, and/or repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials/equipment for the assigned job. The ideal candidate is a natural problem solver who exercises great communication skills with project managers and clients. Relocation assistance available for out of state candidates.
Duties include but are not limited to: Managing a crew of 10 -15 electricians Review plans and layouts provided by the Project Manager Identify and communicate conflicts in construction progress with the Project Manager. Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress Controls project plan by reviewing design, specifications, plan and schedule changes Generate weekly and monthly material requests Attend job site meetings with General Contractor, when needed Maintain daily logs and other paperwork that can be required by the General Contractor Use an iPad to document daily progress on a project Maintaining safe and clean working environment Comprehend and practice safe work procedures
Experience requirements: Strong industrial electrical background. 2 years of prior industrial electrical supervision experience Strong knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC). Able to demonstrate necessary computer and keyboard skills. Ability to manage customer and company specific information and documentation in an organized manner. Knowledgeable of National Electric Code and comply with State and local building codes during the installation of electrical systems. Capable of laying out conduit, cable tray, or wire trough and trapeze systems. Capable of connecting basic control systems. (Start-stop, E-stop, motor starters)
