Registered Nurse (RN)$20,000 Sign-on Bonus with two (2) year commitment to that role. Open to external applicates who have not been previously employed by CMC in the last rolling 9 months.Status/FTE: FT / 0.8-1.0 FTEShift length: 10 hoursStart Time: 1030Unit:SurgerySchedule Requirements (including weekends, holidays):4-10’s, Tuesday-Friday. Weekend call coverage required on a rotating basis.Friday evening 5pm or 7pm through Sunday evening 7pm. 20-minute response time.Required qualifications:Current state RN licenseAssociate’s degree from accredited nursing schoolBLS for Healthcare Provider upon hireACLS within three (3) months of hireOR RN experience requiredRecent experience within last five (5) years in the perioperative fieldComplete moderate sedation course within three (3) months of hirePreferred qualifications:CNOR certification preferredOR Charge Nurse experience preferredAdditional Information/Department information: The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of patients from admission to the department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in the perioperative setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. The RN is knowledgeable in all surgical procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents.
