Develop and maintain relationships with borrowers, community partners, real estate professionals and internal team members to promote access to homeownership and financial empowerment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Originate mortgage loans in alignment with community lending goals, including Federal Housing Administration (FHA), Veterans Affairs (VA), U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), Conventional and affordable housing programs.Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, housing counselors, real estate agents and other referral sources.Educate borrowers on mortgage products, homebuying process and financial literacy, especially first-time homebuyers. Cross-sell financial products to qualified prospects.Conduct outreach events, workshops and seminars in the community to promote lending services and affordable housing initiatives.Guide applicants through the loan application process, including prequalification.Conduct credit analysis and collaborate with underwriters, processors and other internal staff to ensure timely and accurate loan processing.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state and local mortgage assistance programs and regulatory compliance requirements.Meet or exceed individual and team loan production goals, while adhering to quality and compliance standards.
