Receives report from assigned charge nurses in a timely manner and completes a shift report for the Director of Nursing. Appropriately manages staff and disciplines staff members as necessary. When appropriate, assists employees in resolving unsatisfactory performance and behavior issues in a positive and constructive manner, ensuring appropriate behaviors are explained and the expected standard of performance is communicated.
