The operating rooms employ state-of-the-art technologies and equipment to remain at the forefront of the diagnosis and treatment of vascular disease. The vascular OR has two operating rooms and an endovascular suite. Procedures include but are not limited to: Placement of intravascular stents, embolization of vascular structures, diagnostic peripheral angiograms, peripheral revascularization, endovascular abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, thoracic aortic endovascular stent placement, carotid and femoral endarterectomies,arteriovenous fistula creation, leg amputations, open abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, aorto bifemoral bypass, and femoral popliteal bypasses.Qualifications:Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirementsRequired Experience: One year of ORnursingLicense: current RN license in our state Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart AssociationOther Physical Requirements: Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis. Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
