Position is full-time with benefits! 1st Shift 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM + OT including some weekends PRODUCTION Sets up and operates various machines to cut, stamp, bend, punch or otherwise form steel component parts which are used to fabricate finished products such as steel joists, bridging, girders and other structural steel pieces. May count out and package bolts for shipment and maintain related records.Place and tack weld steel component parts to fabricate finished products including steel joists and girders on a fast-paced assembly line.Must be able to learn to tack weld.Performs other duties as assigned.Requirements Must be able to read, understand and use shop paperwork and drawings to properly setup machines to produce required parts.Must use various measuring devices such as tape measure, micrometer, calipers, etc.May operate overhead cranes or use other equipment to move raw material and/or finished goods to and from machine.May be required to assemble component pieces by welding.Feeds raw material into and removes finished product from machine.Trips machine via hand or foot control.
