Tasks that the individual will be responsible for include but not limited to; emptying waste baskets, sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, or polishing floors, using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing and waxing machines. Demonstrate knowledge of housekeeping processes, tools and techniques in a healthcare environment; ability to apply this to provide a clean and sterile environment for patients and facility staff. Ability to lift and/or move up to 40-50lbs and push/pull up variable weight limits on flat surfaces or up and down ramps. This position will require the individual to be on their feet for the majority of their shift. May be exposed to certain levels of noise with the equipment in operation.
