About the unit4D is a 22 bed Medical-Surgical unit at Blodgett Hospital that offers comprehensive care for a diverse range of general medical and surgical patients in a collaborative and supportive environment. Employees are attracted to our Med/Surg units for the variety of patient cases and strong sense of teamwork, allowing them to develop expertise in managing a wide array of medical and surgical conditions. Our unit cares for patients with nasogastric tubes, urinary catheters, enteral and parenteral feeding needs, wounds, tubes, drains, some post-operative recovery, chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension, and infectious diseases requiring isolation and specialized care.About Blodgett HospitalSet within a quiet, beautifully maintained property of mature trees and healing gardens. About this unit4G is a 22 bed unit that cares for a variety of medical and surgical patients, specializing in digestive diseases. Our patient population is an even mix of medical and surgical cases, where you will see colorectal and bariatric surgical patients as well as bowel obstruction, kidney failure, cellulitis, and falls. We are an accredited bariatric surgery center that focuses on continuous quality improvement for our patients.
