Assure that food and supplies are readily available for the next meal’s preparation by reviewing the upcoming menus 8. Assure that daily and weekly scheduled cleaning duties in accordance with established policies and procedures. Assure that dietary service work areas, dining rooms, storage rooms, and equipment are maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner, and in compliance with all applicable regulations. 9. Develop and maintain a good working relationship with inter and intra departmental personnel within the facility to assure that food service can be properly maintained to meet the needs of the residents and staff. 10. About this unitThe Rehab Unit has 42 beds and is located at Blodgett Hospital. Team members enjoy working on the unit as you can become an expert in so many areas since we care for a wide variety of diagnoses. Some of the patients we care for are stroke, lung and heart transplant, bone marrow transplant patients as well as ortho trauma, limb loss, brain injury and more. We often get to form great relationships with our patients and see them progress in a positive way. We have a very team-oriented floor and environment, which includes strong relationships as an interdisciplinary team. Nurse-patient ratios vary depending on the shift and the population you will be serving. It has a long term care unit and a rehab unit. Each floor has designated units that focus on patient specialties, such as general rehab, neuro rehab, traumatic brain injuries and cancer. About this UnitAcute Inpatient Rehab is a CARF accredited 18 bed unit. The unit specializes in patients that are diagnosed with CVA, SCI, TBI, amputations, ortho, cardiac, and debility. The average length of stay is 12-14 days. These patients have a medical and physical need, and must be able to participate in 3 hours of therapy daily.About Corewell Health South – Lakeland HospitalsThe health system comprises three hospitals, an outpatient surgery center, a regional cancer center, rehabilitation centers, two long-term care residences, home care and hospice services, and 34 affiliate physician practice locations.
