About this unitThe Rehab Unit has 42 beds and is located at Blodgett Hospital. Team members enjoy working on the unit as you can become an expert in so many areas since we care for a wide variety of diagnoses. Some of the patients we care for are stroke, lung and heart transplant, bone marrow transplant patients as well as ortho trauma, limb loss, brain injury and more. We often get to form great relationships with our patients and see them progress in a positive way. Nurse-patient ratios vary depending on the shift and the population you will be serving. It has a long term care unit and a rehab unit. About this UnitAcute Inpatient Rehab is a CARF accredited 18 bed unit. The unit specializes in patients that are diagnosed with CVA, SCI, TBI, amputations, ortho, cardiac, and debility. The average length of stay is 12-14 days.
