About this unitThe Rehab Unit has 42 beds and is located at Blodgett Hospital. Team members enjoy working on the unit as you can become an expert in so many areas since we care for a wide variety of diagnoses. Some of the patients we care for are stroke, lung and heart transplant, bone marrow transplant patients as well as ortho trauma, limb loss, brain injury and more. We often get to form great relationships with our patients and see them progress in a positive way. We have a very team-oriented floor and environment, which includes strong relationships as an interdisciplinary team. Nurse-patient ratios vary depending on the shift and the population you will be serving. It has a long term care unit and a rehab unit. Each floor has designated units that focus on patient specialties, such as general rehab, neuro rehab, traumatic brain injuries and cancer. Offers integrated services with a common mission: to provide goal orientated, compassionate care while living a healthy and active life to the greatest level possible.About Rehab and Nursing Center-Kentridge We are located on a 10-acre campus. Our indoor and outdoor spaces are designed to provide opportunities for improving independence, strength, and confidence. Two main floor courtyards provide outdoor space for rest and renewal. Most patient rooms are private, and have an attached bathroom and shower, television with cable, phone, and a large window.
