In this role you will be instrumental in the care of general neurology and neurosurgical patients. Our neurosurgical patients are highly complex. We care for spine surgery patients, patients who have undergone craniotomy and craniectomy for brain tumor resection, removal or debulking and elective aneurysm interventions. About the unit4D is a 22 bed Medical-Surgical unit at Blodgett Hospital that offers comprehensive care for a diverse range of general medical and surgical patients in a collaborative and supportive environment. Employees are attracted to our Med/Surg units for the variety of patient cases and strong sense of teamwork, allowing them to develop expertise in managing a wide array of medical and surgical conditions. Our unit cares for patients with nasogastric tubes, urinary catheters, enteral and parenteral feeding needs, wounds, tubes, drains, some post-operative recovery, chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension, and infectious diseases requiring isolation and specialized care.About Blodgett HospitalSet within a quiet, beautifully maintained property of mature trees and healing gardens.
