3Dis a 22 bed Med/Surg unit at Blodgett Hospitalthat specializes in the care of patients admitted with complex medical diagnoses as well as general surgery patients. Nurses are often drawn to 3D for the variety of patients and skills utilized. Our nurses become competent in caring for a large array of both medical patients and the occasional surgical patients. About this unit4G is a 22 bed unit that cares for a variety of medical and surgical patients, specializing in digestive diseases. Our patient population is an even mix of medical and surgical cases, where you will see colorectal and bariatric surgical patients as well as bowel obstruction, kidney failure, cellulitis, and falls.
