Core Electric is in need of a Motor Winder, preferably one who can double as a Mechanic.We primarily repair motors and pumps of all shapes, sizes and ages.The ideal candidate for this position has solid technical abilities; you should be able to use hand tools, power tools, and operate various kinds of machinery at a pretty competent level, and be prepared to do so on a full time basis.More specifically, a Motor Winder in our shop needs to be able to:Wind AC/DC electric motor stators, both random and form coil, armatures, and field framesAssemble, repair, and maintain electric motorsRewind and produce coilsReplace and prepare components like stator cores and armaturesDisassemble large motors assist during rewind process and occasionally reassemble the unitReplace defective coil leads and perform with oxy/acetylene brazing of connections of coils in specify sequence.Prepare motor for dippingTest to ensure that repairs were successfulAble to use testing equipment (ex.
