There’s no ceiling for your growthonly opportunity.What You’ll DoAs a Surgical Veterinary Technician, you’ll work closely with five board-certified surgeons, surgical residents, and interns. This role involves managing all aspects of surgical nursingfrom patient intake and diagnostics to anesthesia, surgical assistance, and post-op recovery.In this role, you will:Assist with anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recoverySupport soft tissue, orthopedic, laparoscopic, and neurosurgeriesPrepare surgical patients and maintain sterile technique in the ORPerform post-operative care, treatments, and documentationCollaborate with DVMs, residents, and the surgical support team to provide top-tier careCommunicate compassionately with clients and ensure patients are treated with kindness, dignity, and professionalismHelp with department flow, scheduling, and maintaining equipment and surgical suppliesAnticipated ScheduleThis is a full-time positionSunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 9:00 AM - 7:30 PMSome holidays are requiredCompensationStarting at $25/hr, commensurate with experience and licensureup to $2,5000 sign on bonus, commensurate with experience and licensureWhat’s in It for You At PVESC, we take care of our team just as we care for our patientswholeheartedly.
