ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Linux System Administrator to join our team in the Laurel, Maryland location.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Design, deploy and administer virtualized platforms, using VMWare.Configure and manage Linux and Solaris operating systemsInstalls/loads operating systems softwareTroubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.Build, install and configure infrastructure related software.The ability to troubleshoot higher-level problems and resolve complex technical issues where documentation is either lacking or non-existent.Analyze and resolve complex problems associated with server hardware, applications, and software integration.Minimum Qualifications: Shall have a minimum of twelve (12) years’ experience as a SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in technical discipline is required. Additional five years of experience may be substituted for degree.Preferred Qualifications: Fifteen (15) years of relevant experienceExperience in implementing solutions with PKI-controlled access is desired.Understanding networking components is desired.Clearance Requirements: Current/Active TS/SCI with PolygraphPhysical Requirements: Bending, carrying, kneeling, lifting, light work up to 20 lbs., reaching, repetitive motions, sedentary work, walking, working with data, ability to handle stress & work under pressure, ability to use MS Office, ability to use a PC, analytical or critical thinking skills, interpersonal & people skills, leadership skills, listening skills, multi-tasking ability, oral & written communication skills, organizational skills.
