You will support efforts to build and maintain data pipelines that convert raw cybersecurity data into structured formats optimized for analysis and support the development, transformation, and availability of large-scale datasets.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Developing, testing, and maintaining high-quality production-level software using Python and bash scriptingAnalyzing datasets, generating data dictionaries, and defining field transformationsParticipating in code reviews, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing practical solutionsIngesting, querying, and reviewing data using Elasticsearch and KibanaCollaborating with cross-functional teams to diagnose, debug and resolve data parsing and production issuesCreating large-scale data pipelines with high throughputStaying up to date with emerging trends and technologies, especially those pertaining to Python developmentMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and 3+ years of programming experience or High School Diploma and 7+ years of experienceExperience using Python to build command line applications, maintain shared code libraries, and manipulate data formats like JSON, JSONLines, CSV, XML or similarExperience in Git and GitHub workflows, including branching, pull requests, code reviews, merges, and conflict resolutionExperience with Bash and working with compressed filesExperience ingesting data for Elasticsearch, Lucene, Solr, or similar search enginesAbility to perform software installation, configuration, shell scripting, and troubleshooting in LinuxAbility to interface programmatically with AWS services like S3 or EC2 using PythonClearance Requirements: Must have an active/Current TS/SCI with polygraphPhysical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
