What you will doJohnson Controls has a great opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to design, test and sustain chiller control panel and LabView based software simulators and manufacturing test boxes. This individual will conduct architectural design, prototype build, functional testing, reliability testing and confirm that the product operates as expected with reference to specific documented hardware requirements.This position is in our Chiller Controls Engineering team and will be onsite in New Freedom, PA. How you will do itDevelop and maintain various software simulators and manufacturing test boxes based on LabView.Develop and maintain automatic software testing using LabView.Design of analog and digital interface circuits, development of power supply circuits and/or selection of power supplies.Perform worst case circuit analysis and incorporation of appropriate reliability principles to ensure reliable operation over the environmental specifications.Assist chiller team to develop, test and support chiller system controls. General Summary of PositionJob Summary:Perform complex preventive maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment, and grounds. Working under limited supervision, monitors building system operations and performance. Utilizes several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.Primary Duties:Complies with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and Company directives related to building operations and work safety.Oversees and inspects the work performed by outside contractors. Contracted work includes landscaping, snow removal, remodeling, HVAC, plumbers, and cleaning.Inspects building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client.Performs assigned repairs, emergency, and preventive maintenance.
