General Summary of PositionWe are recruiting for an experienced Pharmacist to join MedStar Health at our distribution center in Elkridge, Maryland on a PRN basis. This position is PRN weekdays and weekends, day shift only (6AM-230PM).Performs medication verification duties of a pharmacist in a drug distribution setting. Works with lead technician to coordinate pharmacy activities and ensures a smooth workflow. Oversees filling of medications, in prepared dosage forms including not limited to oral solids, oral liquids, nebulizers and injectables. Responsible for verifying the accuracy of all picked and assembled medications for timely delivery to hospital pharmacies.
