We are seeking a Senior ConstructionManager/ Installation Manager for our federal team for an exciting, long-term (10+ years) energy efficiency and sustainability upgrade/retrofit project at one of the most iconic buildings in the world the Pentagon (military experience encouraged, but not required). Develops project schedules and executes according to plan.Supervises the field construction process of assigned projects in accordance with the plans and specifications, to ensure that each phase of the work is completed on schedule, within the budget, and with the quality workmanship expected by the company and the customer Prepares budgets and completes forecasting in conjunction with Regional Manager and operations leadership.Manage the selection, scope of work, procurement, quality and payment of project materials, vendors and subcontractors Negotiates, prepares and issues subcontractsEnsures that assigned projects are done accurately, on-time, billed within budget and within scope of the contract. Adheres to and ensures project personnel and subcontractors adhere to all safety standards, internal policies, and US Army Corps of Engineers requirements regarding health and safety.Understand project and contract scopes; actively pursues growth opportunities that will help the customer achieve desired outcomesHelp prepare and approve cost estimates, contract terms & conditions, and technical responses to client requests for information, bids, and proposalsEnsures Technicians, subcontractors and other site personnel complete assigned work per established standards, and thoroughly communicate the services performed and completion criteria to customersComplete timely and accurate project billing to maintain profitability goals and positive cash flowAnalyze financial reporting and project schedule to proactively address potential problems. Effectively communicates project progress, issues and financial status to leadership as requiredProvide periodic project status updates, and monthly revenue, cost, and gross margin forecastsManage risk, establish project recovery plans, and resolve disputes to minimize escalationEnsure project document controls and deliverables comply with contract requirements and Johnson Controls standardsManages the selection, ordering, and delivery schedule of materials to be procured for the projects assignedCoordinates customer-training requirementsRequired Qualifications:10+ years years of direct project management experience in the design-build construction management industry, preferably with projects of similar size, complexity, and scope.Management experience with projects related to HVAC controls, BAS management, MEP, or other relevant systems and equipmentAble to execute projects of higher project and contract complexityExperience managing project financials (P&L management experience), including forecastingProficient in Project Management software and principles. Proficiency with Microsoft Project preferred.Ability to obtain and maintain required government security clearances as needed.
