Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols when working with hazardous materials (e.g., ceramic powders, liquid resins) and high-voltage equipment, conducting regular safety checks and audits. Collaboration: Work with production and engineering teams to coordinate maintenance schedules, minimize production disruptions, and support equipment upgrades or installations. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and maintenance processes, applying problem-solving skills to reduce downtime and enhance efficiency. QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience: Associate’s degree in Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, or a related field and 8+ years’ experience or a high school diploma with equivalent technical training and 10+ years’ experience. Skills and Competencies: Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, with the ability to repair complex equipment like vacuum pumps and PLCs. Familiarity with preventative maintenance processes and maintenance scheduling. Knowledge of seals, gaskets, and other mechanical components used in industrial equipment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) or maintenance management software. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
