The Autism Language Program (ALP) at Boston Children’s Hospital is seeking a full-time ASHA Certified Speech-Language Pathologist with Massachusetts licensure (or license eligibility) who specializes in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) with a focus on autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This is not a Clinical Fellowship position.The ALP provides dynamic, individualized evaluations and interventions for individuals with complex communication profiles. Clinicians are encouraged to pursue AAC-related research and develop specific clinical interests that align with the mission of the program.Location: Waltham outpatient clinic, with possible expansion to Brookline or other sites.Schedule: Full-time, on-site with potential hybrid flexibility in the future. Position Summary/Department Summary:We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team, and help expand our pediatric pelvic floor program. Be a part of our inter-disciplinary team and provide high-quality, outpatient rehabilitation for our pediatric patients. In this position, you will work in the outpatient department treating clients of all genders with Pelvic Health issues including pelvic floor dysfunction, pelvic pain and incontinence, as well as developmental, orthopedic and neurological conditions as needed. Primary location will be at our Waltham, with initial training at the Boston location. This position will include regular Saturday coverage after completion of orientation period.Key Responsibilities:Completing comprehensive physical therapy assessment in alignment with department standards and guidelines for pediatric patients.Performing pelvic floor muscle assessment and treatment for patients with pelvic floor dysfunction.
