Experience • 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty preferred. • Required 3 years of RN experience in Medical Surgical. C. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications • BLS required • RN License in state of employment or compact • Current PALS certification at time of hire or within 12 weeks of hire for experienced RNs • Current ACLS certification at time of hire or within 12 weeks of hire for experienced RNs • Current TNCC and ENPC certification within 12 months of hire for experienced RNs • Moderate Sedation within 3 months of hire for experienced RNs • Current de-escalation training or completion within 90 days of employment with annual recertification • Arrhythmia recognition within 8 weeks of hire • Current NIHSS certification at time of hire or within 90 days of hire for experienced RNs Work Schedule: TBD Work Type: Full Time

Using the appropriate protocol, administers medications and treatments; monitors for side-effects and effectiveness of the treatment prescribed. Documents patient history, symptoms, medication, and care given. Assess learning needs and provides education to patients, family members and/or care givers; identify issues and resources.
