They must maintain knowledge about radiation protection and safety. The Radiologic Technologist prepares for and assists the physician in the completion of intricate Radiologic examinations. They prepare and administer contrast media in accordance with state, federal, and hospital regulations. The Radiologic Technologist is the primary liaison between patients and departmental physicians and other members of the support team. They must remain sensitive to the physical and emotional needs of the patient through good communication, patient assessment, patient monitoring, and patient care skills.What you will do in this role:You will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care for patient populations served in this department.
