The RN demonstrates professional development and clinical competency; utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Address health educational needs for patients, families and other healthcare providers.Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient/family needs for ages neonate through geriatric.Manage patient care assignments as well as other organizational tasks related to patient and unit operations.Act in a clinical leadership role.Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.Documents patient care given.Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
