The PT Care manager also identifies performance improvement and home health standard of care initiatives and assists to design or implement programs to address needed changes. Considers the physical, cultural, psychosocial, spiritual, age specific and educational needs of the patient when developing the plan of care.Periodically reassess the patient every 30 days: provide the ordered therapy service, functionally reassess the patient and compare the resultant measurement to prior assessment measurements. The role you'll contribute: Under general supervision, primary duties include imaging both neuro and body scans on patients from neonate to geriatric, following the age specific guidelines of the facilities parameters, transmitting images for diagnostic interpretation, and keeping the hospital computer system up to date with the progress of these exams. The CT technologist actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all, while implementing the principles of the facility. Employee will be required to complete initial training (prior to handling pharmaceutical waste) to include proper handling and transport of pharmaceutical waste, and proper selection, use and disposal of personal protective equipment, if applicableReviews all images of all exams, repeating images as necessary for best possible result. If necessary notify physician of emergent findings according to established protocolUses computer system for ordering, changing, and canceling exams according to protocol.
