Unloads products from the trailer by hand or via provided company equipment, transports items into designated customer storage areas.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the delivery route. Must be able to use and walk up and down a delivery ramp. Must be able to step, bend, crouch and reach as required to meet delivery requirements.Ensures the quality of the product upon delivery reviewing for nonconformities according to company policy and contacts supervisor about any and all inventory adjustments.Verifies delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures. Collects and appropriately processes customer checks (no cash) where required.Loads customer returns on to trailer and secures trailer doors. Ensures that tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and/or always secured.Handles damaged goods and customer returns, completing all necessary paperwork accurately and timely.Unloads all equipment, materials and removes trash from trailers as required.Completes daily record of hours of service and enter in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.Performs general housekeeping duties in tractor, domicile area and keep trailers clear and clean as required.
