Provides patient/caregiver education and arranges for adaptive equipment as needed.Essential FunctionsPerforms evaluation procedures to assess the level of disability with regard to scope of practice, goals and a plan of treatment, and to make appropriate recommendations.Provides a treatment program and education to restore and return maximal function to the patient. Shift and StatusFull time, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and variable weekends.Job SummaryMaintains responsibility for preparation of the surgical suite, intraoperative handling of instruments, maintenance of the sterilefield, and evaluation of changing conditions during the surgical procedures, making appropriate responses as needed. Isresponsible for maintaining knowledge of surgical procedures and principles related to those procedures.
