They prioritize personnel and food safety at all times.ResponsibilitiesRespond and react to mechanical issues in the production environment in a timely and efficient manner.Complete maintenance projects - PM tasks and work orders as assigned.Read electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams.Write parts requests, complete work orders, and write corrective work ordersFollow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).Keep a clean work areaPerform building inspections and routinesCommunicate with other team membersPerform Lock-Out-Tag-Out when necessaryRequirementsMinimum 4 years work experience in a maintenance mechanic environment.Must have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.Must have a strong understanding of AC/DC motors, motor control circuits, and photoeyes / sensors, etc.Knowledge of conveyance a strong plus.Must be computer literate.Familiarity with CMMS work order systemsFood manufacturing background a plus with an understanding of FDA requirementsMust have good attention to detail.
