Complies with requirements from CSL Behring’s Safety Program, including Health and Safety mandates and OSHA requirements. 8. Completes any other duties/responsibilities assigned by senior management. Other Responsibilities:Responsible for the fire protection, alarm and control system.Maintain accurate records of fire safety inspections, testing fire protection systems, maintenance, and repairs.Support Fire department audits.Interpret and apply applicable NFPA Standards to the system design/layout.Ensure fire systems are compliant with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards inclusive of fire hazard classifications, classification of occupancy, partition/separations requirements and means of egress provisions.Responsible to support electrical engineering assigned duties.Create plans, perform equipment selection, load calculations and power system studies.Periodically review and update the Short Circuit Coordination Study.Performs data evaluation, design support, assist with reviewing electrical single lines, electrical plans, electrical control panel drawings, electrical equipment (pumps, motors, vfd’s, etc) for the utility plant.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or B.S. degree in an Engineering related filed.Minimum of 5 years' experience and a B.S.Minimum of 3 years' experience and a M.S.Must possess basic knowledge of core principles in various engineering disciplinesExperience with architectural, MEP and P&ID drawings preferably in the pharmaceutical industry.Experience interpreting electrical and control drawings.Knowledgeable of electrical design standards, IEEE, building code requirements, NFPA and OSHA life safety regulations to design, safety and maintenance.Working experience with electrical power distribution at 138kV, 15kV and 480v.Experience in fire alarm and smoke control systems.Knowledge of utility and mechanical systems (pumps, valves, materials).Knowledge of computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).Demonstrated ability to manage contractors, while interfacing with multiple departments, working with internal customers to manage projects.Functional knowledge of cGMPs and manufacturing operations in FDA regulated facilityProficiency in the use of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookThe expected base salary range for this position at hiring is $96,000 - $121,000.
