We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Maintenance Technician to join our night shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure safe and efficient production operations.
Schedule: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (flexible days and hours, including occasional call-ins)
Job Duties Include: Follow all company safety procedures and participate in ongoing Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) training. Respond quickly and effectively to equipment failures that impact production or safety. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues involving motors, pumps, valves, instrumentation, PLCs, centrifuges, heat exchangers, steam-tube dryers, boilers, conveyors, augers, hammer mills and process tanks/vessels. Perform routine and preventive maintenance as scheduled. Communicate with the Maintenance Planner, Maintenance Supervisor and production teams to prioritize tasks and minimize downtime. Accurately record maintenance activities and findings in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Interfaces with Plant Staff and the regulators on matters related to implementation of the Radiation Protection program.PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIESResponsible for the daily supervision, monitoring, and coaching of employees to ensure productive workforce in compliance with company policies, procedures, and maintaining employee relations in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement or other employee policies.Responsible for the day-to-day management of the functional Radiation Protection (RP) program to ensure that work is getting completed in a timely manner and that the nuclear workers' exposure is being maintained As Low as Reasonably Achievable (ALARA).Ensure effective communication of company programs, announcements, policies, etc. to assigned employees and feedback to the company from assigned employeesDirectly supervise the Laborers/Radiation Protection Technicians (RPTs) who perform routine plant cleaning and equipment and tool decontamination.
