We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Maintenance Technician to join our night shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure safe and efficient production operations.
Schedule: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (flexible days and hours, including occasional call-ins)
Job Duties Include: Follow all company safety procedures and participate in ongoing Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) training. Respond quickly and effectively to equipment failures that impact production or safety. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues involving motors, pumps, valves, instrumentation, PLCs, centrifuges, heat exchangers, steam-tube dryers, boilers, conveyors, augers, hammer mills and process tanks/vessels. Perform routine and preventive maintenance as scheduled. Communicate with the Maintenance Planner, Maintenance Supervisor and production teams to prioritize tasks and minimize downtime. Accurately record maintenance activities and findings in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITIONPlan, direct and monitor activities of the station Maintenance Department that is responsible for performing maintenance efficiently, safely and in accordance with Company policies and State and Federal regulations. Establish policies to assure conformance with regulatory and insurance requirements, Quality guidelines and Exelon Nuclear policies. Works with Station Senior Management team to develop and implement plans that support site and corporate business goals and objectives. Accountable for safe, effective and efficient implementation of the Work Management processes at the site. This includes the scheduling, detailed planning/coordination and execution of daily online maintenance. Oversight of site supply function is provided.PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIESParticipates in all aspects of station management to ensure safe and efficient operation of the plant, including the development, implementation and performance monitoring of all corporate, site and divisional business goals and objectives.Direct the online work execution processes. Identify process problems and effect corrective actions to address those problems in a timely manner.Complete management of assigned staff (e.g. Employment, Development, Compensation, Performance Evaluation, assist in ensuring Training Certification compliance, etc.) to ensure that all maintenance activities are performed safely by trained workers in accordance with plant procedures NRC regulations and the site schedule.Oversee Online Risk Management programs to assure safe plant operations.Responsible for the planning and execution of all maintenance activities during on-line, forced outages, refuel outages and unplanned power reductions for both internal and external personnel, which includes administration and oversight of all maintenance contract personnel.Direct the Supply Management organization.
