Types of Patients on Unit: Neuro- laminectomy, cervical fusion, LESI, belly surgery-ostomies, hernia repair, joint replacement-total hips/knees. PICC, TPN, Lipids. Fem pop bypass, dialysis catheter insertions, BKA, AKA. DM (dialysis is also located on the 3rd floor) PCA, some epidurals, iv abx, chronic pain (narcotics), sepsis, urgent OR cases. Unit Details: Med Surg/ TELE - Inpatient Surgical - 3rd floorBeds 48 (two buildings) Special Requests: Will not guarantee block scheduling. Shift & Scheduling: Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend. Sat. Sun for both shifts.Holiday Requirement: In the holiday rotation with core staff Floating Requirements: Float to like units only.
