Employee must be able to assist falling or fallen patient; must be able to perform CPR alone. Individual homes may present poor lighting situations, exposure to pets and other allergens, pest infestations and poor cleanliness. Employee may be exposed to irate and abusive patients and families. Employee must be able to assess home situation for possible patient abuse. Employee may be required to drive at night and/or in hazardous conditions; must be able to follow written/verbal instructions and read a map. Employee must independently schedule patient visits in timely and efficient manner; checking in with office daily to update schedule. Employee has regular contact with agency staff members, physicians, hospital or medical center staff, general public.
