Obtains, organizes andassigns work to technicians and electricians daily while working in conjunction withmaintenance and operations teams• 50% of time will be spent on communications, computer work,and supervisory skills development, equipment evaluations and cost trackingOther 50% will be spent on maintenance related activities• Ability to coordinate own efforts with the efforts of others. Recognizes priorityconflicts and seeks guidance to resolve. Develops effective working relationships with plant maintenance, engineering, operating personnel and peers• May be asked to participate in equipment failure analysis, develop findings, draw conclusions, make recommendations and prepare reports• Will have contributions, although limited, to the design of engineering projects, but can be asked toparticipate in execution of projects• Is responsible for meeting assignments within time, budget and constraintsagreed upon in advance• Applies theories, concepts, and techniques and applies a working knowledgeof related disciplines• Demonstrates the ability to adapt to changes in the daily work plan based on changing needs• Works on a wide range of troubleshooting problems; uses knowledge of theprocess control and electrical systems to solve problems and recommends corrective action• Gains recognition from peers for gaining knowledge in the power and controls field• Works with process engineers and production personnel. Will have contactswith Maintenance, Accounting, Purchasing, ICD, Suppliers and professionalorganizations. Works with integrity and upholds the values of the organization• Work plans are developed for area PM’s and are reviewed for accuracy, completeness and timeliness• Reports to Plant Power & Controls Engineer but may be under the workingsupervision and mentoring of a Senior Engineer. Position is supervised, but freedom is given to howeach area is managedPerformance measures• Demonstrated ability to provide technical supervision and instructions is one of the indications that theindividual is ready for promotion• A person should demonstrate the ability to be promoted from this level in 0 to 2 years• Experience alone will not qualify or disqualify an individual for promotion• During the first one to two years, Power & Controls Resource I persons will receive a strong foundation of hands- on experiences and technical assignments which will preparethem for future responsibilities with the potential for opportunity for advancement in the maintenance groupTotal RewardsThe annual pay range estimated for this position is $85,268.80 - $106,586.00 and is bonus eligible.Please note that while this range reflects the full spectrum of compensation available for this role, individual compensation will be determined based on several factors including your experience, skills, and alignment with the role's responsibilities.During the interview process there will be an opportunity to discuss how your background fits into the pay range.
