This role is responsible for maintaining the company’s buildings, facilities, and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. The HVAC Technician will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling systems, as well as perform preventative maintenance. This position requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Job Duties Include: Understand and adhere to all company safety procedures; participate in periodic Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) training. We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Maintenance Technician to join our night shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure safe and efficient production operations.
Schedule: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (flexible days and hours, including occasional call-ins)
Job Duties Include: Follow all company safety procedures and participate in ongoing Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) training. Respond quickly and effectively to equipment failures that impact production or safety. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues involving motors, pumps, valves, instrumentation, PLCs, centrifuges, heat exchangers, steam-tube dryers, boilers, conveyors, augers, hammer mills and process tanks/vessels. Perform routine and preventive maintenance as scheduled. Communicate with the Maintenance Planner, Maintenance Supervisor and production teams to prioritize tasks and minimize downtime. We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining the company’s buildings, facilities, and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operations. The HVAC Technician will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, and cooling systems, as well as perform preventative maintenance. This position requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Job Duties Include: Understand and adhere to all company safety procedures; participate in periodic Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) training. Maintain and repair company buildings, facilities, and equipment to ensure safe operating conditions. Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, including pumps, fans, compressors, and related mechanical systems. Utilize strong mechanical and electrical skills to complete assignments effectively. Perform preventative maintenance on HVAC control and operating systems as scheduled through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). Safely execute job duties by following lockout/tagout procedures, job hazard analysis, and using PPE as required. Work outdoors in all seasons and at heights when needed. Perform all other duties as assigned or requested.
